Let's Have A Parade!!!

The clock is already ticking for the Lincoln Patriot Marching Band as they make preparations to participate in the 2008 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Over 300 marchers will don the columbia blue uniforms of the band and line up near Central Park to make their way down Broadway in November.

The Lincoln Band will be making their third appearance in the parade, the last time leading the way in the fall of 2000. They first took the street in New York in the fall of 1994.

At left is the band in 2000 as they neared Time Square, in their previous uniforms, complete with white plumes. The old brass tubas can be seen in the "giant pencil" formation Lincoln traditionally marches in parades.
